About this Series

This podcast series, sponsored by Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia, will focus on events leading up to and during the United States Civil War. After setting the stage through a series of preliminary episodes, we will look back each week to significant events that occurred roughly 150 years ago on those same dates.

We hope that the series will not only be a welcome addition to the many sesquicentennial events across the nation, but will also act as an archive source of information for scholars and all those interested in these important events.

Is there any chance of an android feed?

  3. William says:

Can you provide a embeddable feed code so that we can embed a live feed on our blogs? I have listened to several episodes, wondering if it would be biased (like the title) toward the Yankee North, but it seems to be very well balanced! Great series.
